"Rewriting our MARC records to export into vufind is exposing lots of fun record quality problems. Like when I try to rewrite a subfield z and pymarc complains there's 2 of them in the existing field, I look and see one of them says "Access restricted to Stanford community" :/

we've only been telling patrons using our catalog they can't read this journal because we're not Stanford for, uh, 4 years."

@platypus I once heard a wise person hold forth to the effect that every new data export, format conversion, or database refactor is an opportunity to clean up messes you didn't know you had. :)
